Rob Brauch has been involved in the development of advanced noise monitoring instrumentation for Hearing Conservation applications since 1978. He is currently Founder and President of Occupational Health and Safety Solutions, Inc. Rob is currently or has been a member of the Institute of Noise Control Engineering (INCE), the National Hearing Conservation Association (NHCA) and the Acoustics Society of America. He is a 30+ year member of AIHA, serving on the Noise Committee continuously since 2000 (Chair, 2004). He is also a CAOHC Accredited Occupational Hearing Conservationist. In addition to speaking at numerous professional conferences and technical workshops around the world since 1990, including the Noise Exposure portion of the NIOSH 2008 DREAM (Direct Reading Exposure Assessment Methods) Symposium, Mr. Brauch has published numerous articles on Hearing Conservation, Personal and Area Noise Exposure Assessment methods, Impulse Noise Characterization, Noise Control and related topics
