Alexys Wilur, BFA
Alexys Wilbur has practiced user-centered design for almost two decades. Her interest lies in developing products that are beneficial to underserved populations and address social objectives while being relevant to a wide marketplace. She has contributed to the development of products for the healthcare industry including a low-cost, wireless, noise-tolerant distortion product otoacoustic emission probe, and a wireless and noise attenuating headset for automated hearing screening. She has designed interfaces and stimuli for neurocognitive assessment, and designed a system that manages pediatric patients in recovery from concussion. Alexys received her BFA in Industrial Design from Carnegie Mellon University, and is certified in User Experience with a focus in Interaction Design. She currently serves as a consultant to NIH and CDC funded research projects.
