Over the past 2 decades, I am proud to have helped shape Hearing Protection products from Honeywell Safety, Nacre AS and Racal Acoustics. Prior to this, I have been involved with active noise and active noise and vibration control technology for Aerospace and Defense applications.

Minuendo is developing hearing protection solutions that people want to wear. Our first product caters for the needs of musicians and live music/entertainment lovers. People that want to hear and enjoy the sound experience, but also need protection that is comfortable. Our adjustable earplug with superb frequency response gives the wearer control over the amount of attenuation from 7dB to 25dB. It is receiving superb reviews.

Our soon to launch Smart Alert solution is automating the hearing conservation process. Smart Alert earplugs with active noise monitoring provide real-time feedback when noise levels are unsafe at the ear. The user can now take immediate corrective action to reduce their personal exposure. Smart Alert cloud notifies the user of their exposure status with support on how to further correct any unsafe behaviours.

Our product is developed, tested and ready for field use - but we are looking for industry innovators willing to pilot our solution in real-life applications.
